The Majority of the articles found on this website come from material that I learned while taking a Human Development class and a Parenting class at Brigham Young University in 2005. I have typed up my notes, putting them in article form to share what I learned with others. I have also written articles based on what I remember as well as what I have learned from my own experiences with raising my children.
When other resoureces were used for a particular article, those resources were noted at the bottom of the page.
The primary book that was used during the Human Development class was the Seventh Edition of "Child Develpment" by Laura E. Berk. This is a great resource for learning more about how children develop and grow.
A resource that I would recommend to parents or others who want to know more about children and toddlers is the Parents Magazine. You can subscribe to this magazine and recieve it every month. It is full of new ideas for children 0-8 years old.
Another resource that I would recommend to parents who need ideas on games to play with their babies is, "Games to play with Babies" by Jackie Silberg. It is a great resource and full of fun ideas for you and your baby.
Do you have a website that is about babies or toddlers and want to link to our website and have us link back to yours? E-mail us with your website address.
